America jumped after Pakistan in Karnataka Hijab controversy, Ambassador said this

After Pakistan, America has also entered in the Karnataka Hijab Controversy. Rashad Hussain, US Ambassador At-Large for International Religious Freedom, Joe Biden Administration(Rashad Hussain) has said that the Karnataka government should not decide whether to wear a religious dress or not. Indian-origin Hussain said on his official Twitter handle that to ensure the religious freedom of a person, he should be given the freedom to wear the dress of his religion. This official of America's Joe Biden government wrote in a tweet, 'Wearing your religious dress is also part of religious freedom. The Indian state of Karnataka should not prescribe the permission for religious dress. The ban on hijab in schools is a violation of religious freedom and creates a special perception and marginalizes women and girls. Earlier, Pakistan had summoned the Indian diplomat on the Karnataka issue. Pakistan has appealed to the Indian diplomat to make the Indian government aware of Pakistan's seriousness towards the anti-hijab campaign. Pakistan ministers Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chaudhry Fawad Hussain have also criticized India over the hijab controversy. Last month, in a government college in Udupi, 6 girls came to the college wearing hijab against the rules of the college administration. After this, a controversy arose over wearing hijab in other colleges of Karnataka as well. In protest against the hijab, some students started coming to school and college with saffron shawls, due to which the matter caught fire. There were also reports of stone pelting in Karnataka's Shivamogga and Bagalkot districts over the hijab controversy.
