Side effects of Russo-Ukraine war: inflation may reduce recruitment

Geopolitical tensions arising out of the Russo-Ukraine war and fears of inflation may affect recruitment in the coming months. According to Manpowergroup Employment Outlook Survey, the net employment scenario during April-June 2022 is likely to be 38 per cent as against 49 per cent during January-March 2022. This information was given in the 60th annual edition of Manpowergroup Employment Outlook Survey on Tuesday. For the April-June quarter, 55 per cent of employers expect payrolls to increase, 17 per cent said it will decrease while 36 per cent expect it to remain unchanged. Thus the net employment scenario is 38 per cent. Sandeep Gulati, Group Managing Director, ManpowerGroup said, "The country is coming out of the impact of the pandemic, but there are new challenges like global geopolitical instability and rising inflation." Meanwhile, India will continue to grow as the main source of information technology and technology resources. Let us tell you that the common man has suffered a major setback on the inflation front. Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of domestic gas cylinders along with petrol and diesel. Experts say that the prices of both these fuels will continue to rise further.According to the information, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by 76 to 86 paise per liter on Tuesday. In the capital Delhi, petrol has increased by 80 paise to Rs 96.21 per liter. Similarly, diesel has also increased by 80 paise to 87.47 paise per liter. Petrol and diesel prices have increased after 137 days. There was no increase in the prices of these two fuels from November 3, 2021.
