Karnataka: Hijab-clad girl students create ruckus outside college, chanting 'We Want Justice'

In Karnataka, there has been an uproar once again regarding the Hijab Row. Hijab-clad girl students have created a ruckus over the entry in a college in Vijayapura. The girls were trying to enter the college with hijab when the teachers stopped them and they started shouting slogans. The girls raised slogans of 'We Want Justice'. Teachers were following the interim order of the High Court Let us tell you that the Karnataka High Court has given an interim order that entry with hijab, saffron shawl or other religious symbols will not be allowed in schools and colleges till the final order of the court. The Karnataka High Court will hear the Hijab case today (Wednesday) at 2.30 pm. In Vijayapura, the teachers were following the interim order of the High Court when the hijab-clad girl students argued with them and started a ruckus. In Vijayapura, the girls are adamant that they will take admission in the college along with the hijab. When the teacher stopped the girl students, they started a ruckus without caring for the teacher.The counsel for the girl students argued in the Karnataka High Court that there is no harm in wearing a scarf on the head. Hijab ban is wrong. The Karnataka government has misused the court's order. The February 5 public order on dress code is justified. Efforts are being made to ban the hijab by giving a public order. Constitution is secular, all religions should be recognized.
