Will BSP tie up with BJP after elections? Mayawati gave this answer

                      Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has rubbished the reports about an alliance with the BJP. This has put an end to the speculation of BJP being a B team. Let us inform that in the past, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had praised BSP, after which BSP was being described in the media as the B team of BJP.

                      BSP chief Mayawati said that if the BSP was the B team of the BJP, then why did the SP and the Congress contest the elections together with the party. Addressing a public meeting in support of party candidates of Basti district, Mayawati said that the election has started from western UP and since then whatever the Home Minister has said about the condition of Dalits and Muslims of BSP there. Since then the media and the opposition parties have again started chanting that the BSP is the B team of the BJP.

                      He said that there is not even an iota of truth in this. BSP would have been the B team of BJP, then why did SP contest the assembly elections in UP once and Lok Sabha elections together with BSP. Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said in an interview given to a TV channel that Mayawati has her hold on the land, but she does not know how much it will change in the seat. Shah had also said that a large proportion of Jatav and Muslim votes would go with Mayawati.

                     She alleged that Mulayam Singh Yadav came to power in the state with the support of the BJP in 2003 when she withdrew from the government. He hugged Kalyan Singh. How can people forget all this. Taking a dig at the Congress, he said that why the Congress party had also contested the Legislative Assembly elections once with the BSP and why it had taken the support of the BSP several times for its government at the Center as well. The media and Congress should also tell the public about this.

                     He said that calling BSP the B team of BJP shows abominable politics. Mayawati, who was the Chief Minister of UP, alleged that in the SP government, only goons, mafia, robbery and criminals have ruled. There has always been a situation of tension in the state under the SP government. He stressed that development work has also been done in the SP government for a particular area and for a particular section.
