Big blow to Punjab Congress, Ashwini Kumar resigns

                             Former Union Minister Ashwini Kumar has resigned from the Congress today (Tuesday). Ashwani Kumar sent his resignation to Congress President Sonia Gandhi this morning and said that he can work better for the country by staying out of the party.

Ashwini Kumar was the Law Minister in the Manmohan Singh government

                            Let us know that Ashwini Kumar was the Law Minister in the UPA government led by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Ashwini Kumar was associated with the Congress for the last 46 years. On the resignation of Ashwini Kumar, Congress has said that his departure will not make any difference to the party.

                             In his resignation letter, Ashwini Kumar said, “I am leaving the party after a long association of 46 years and hope to continue to work proactively for the masses inspired by such a transformational leadership that was given by our freedom fighters to the liberal Be based on the hypothesis of high commitment to democracy.
