                       Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that in the last 7 years, the central government has made improvements and changes in the health infrastructure of the country and now it is trying to provide facilities for treatment of serious diseases at the block level. He was speaking at the inauguration of a webinar organized by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on the provisions made for the health sector in the Union Budget-2022.

                      The Prime Minister said that the effort of his government is to provide affordable treatment to every person of the country through modern technology. Referring to the budget provisions for the health sector, he said that this budget extends our efforts to reform and transform the health care system since last year. We have taken an all-inclusive approach to our healthcare system.

                      He said that it is also necessary to take care of the infrastructure related to these facilities and improve it from time to time and for this the private and other sectors will also have to come forward with more energy. The Prime Minister said that the construction of 1.5 lakh 'Health and Wellness' centers to strengthen the primary health care network is in progress and so far more than 85,000 centers have been provided with facilities like routine check-ups, immunization and check-ups. .

                      Referring to the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, the Prime Minister said that it provides an easy interface between the customer and the health care provider. He said that with this both getting and giving treatment in the country will become very easy. Not only this, it will also facilitate global access to India's quality and affordable healthcare system.
