This car picks up speed from 0 to 100 kmph in 9.9 seconds. The car is powered by a Permanent Magnet AC Motor, which generates a peak torque of 245 Nm. The car is powered by an IP67 certified 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. The Tata Nexon EV can run at least 300 kms on a single charge. The Nexon's battery can also be charged at home with a 15 amp plug. Although the company has given an 8-year battery warranty. In less than an hour, this car will be charged up to 80 percent. On the other hand, it will take 7 to 8 hours to charge on a standard charger. Apart from this, features like sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat, ABS with EBD have been provided in Tata Nexon EV. The SUV is powered by a 30.2 kwh battery. In such a situation, if it is seen, it will cost 30.2 units of electricity to charge it full i.e. if the rate of Rs 6 / unit of electricity is considered, then it will cost Rs 181.2 for full charge once and then it will run 312 km. In this way, its cost per kilometer was close to 58 paise. So it can be said that Rs 580 will cost electricity to run the car 1000km.
