SGPGI will now reach patients stuck in jam from Shaheed Path, NHI will build elevated road

        Patients and attendants will no longer have to struggle with traffic jams to reach the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPJI), Lucknow. Doctors and staff will also be able to reach duty without facing heavy traffic. In fact, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is going to build an elevated road (flyover) on Rae Bareli Road from Shaheedpath directly to SGPGI.In such a situation, now patients will not have to get stuck in the jam while going to SGPGI. Patients will be able to enter the SGPGI hospital premises directly from Shaheed Path through elevated road without facing any traffic. In this way it will be easier to save the lives of serious patients.

       NHAI Project Director NN Giri said that recently a decision has been taken regarding the SGPI flyover. Work on this has been expedited. With the construction of this flyover, people of the capital will get relief as well as people coming from Rae Bareli, Allahabad, Banaras, Unchahar will be able to enter the hospital premises directly. This flyover will be about one kilometer long. Which can get up from the entrance of Vrindavan Kalani and will go towards PGI and another road towards Rae Bareli Road. There itselfPeople coming from Rae Bareli will also descend from the flyover towards Lucknow and the other slope towards Vrindavan Colony, through this colony, people will travel two km. By walking, you will be connected to the Shaheed Path or you will be able to climb the Shaheed Path leading to Telibagh, Kanpur Road and Gomti Nagar via Utrethia. This is a possible route, we will look for a better option by survey and consultant. This flyover will be started for the general public before the year 2024.
